The Beast.... cont.

So after a giving Vern plenty of time to come back home, with no prevail, I decided to go look for him. Where could he be? He's not long been exploring, I hope he hasn't got lost. I retrace his steps. Nothing. Now I am starting to get worried.... I hope he is OK!

Then, out of the corner of my eye, something catches my eye. was it Vern?

 Behind bars, I see Vern. I call out to him.

 "help me, get me down, before he comes back!"

but it was too late...

who's that mysterious figure creeping up on Vern? 

I move in for a closer look! 

 Oh no!  It is the dreaded evil McDread! 

What is that in his hand?

 He lets Vern down. he looks scared. what can I do?

 with a sinister look of evil and dread on his face, the dreaded evil McDread moves towards Vern! 

 and he pours.... 

 All of a sudden...

 Vern turns into a giant (yet tiny) Chicken! 

 And the dreaded evil McDread leaves....

But wait, there is a twist to this tale! 

 Its the honourable and handsome Sir Good the Good Knight! 

He takes down the dreaded evil McDread! 

He turns Vern back into to normal size (yet still tiny)

 And Vern makes like a banana split and gets the hell out of there! 

Vern is home safe and sound now, and he can barely remember the events that happened. bless his little plastic socks! 

ONLY JOKING, it was all staged. :)
